Runway: Many new styles and trends have hit the runway for the fall and the winter, so for all you fashionistas out there, here are the major trends of the cold season.
1. Don’t be afraid to experiment with bold outerwear pieces. Bold textures such as furs and leathers are totally in this fall. But don’t forget, when rocking a statement coat or jacket, keep the rest of your outfit simple so all the attention will be on the main attraction.
2. After the wild ride of floral prints in the spring and summer, we’re ready to go back to basics with this new, yet old trend. Classic prints are making a comeback (not like they were ever out) such as houndstooth, leopard, and plaid.
3. Shades of green were spotted all over the runway for the fall season. This color could be worn in clothing and accessories and the many shades fit all skin tones.
Fashion Spotlight: Anna Sui
Anna Sui is one of the most celebrated designers of all time. She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Chinese emigrants, and ever since the launching of her first line, the world knew that they had seen something special. Her fall 2013 is also extremely special, so here are some of my favorite pieces.
