Recent White House Security Breaches

Roger Kim

On March 18, the Secret Service detained a man who jumped over a bike rack in an attempt to get over the White House fence, the CNN reported. This mirrors an incident on March 10, where a man trespassed on White House grounds for more than 15 minutes carrying mace and a letter for President Trump. He jumped fences and set off alarms before being found close to a door. A former Secret Service agent who served in the security details of both Presidents Bush and Obama warned on Saturday that President Donald Trump “is not secure in the White House right now as it stands.”
